Gen Con - Another Record Breaking Year

Everyone felt welcomed in Downtown Indianapolis and at Gen Con, for the best four days in gaming!

Gen Con Sold-Out! Yes, the largest and longest-running tabletop gaming convention in North America sold out all four days again. Everywhere there was something to see across the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the city of Indianapolis. Each year the awesome Indianapolis gaming convention gets bigger, offering more games and ticketed events to join.

Had an anwes time with everyone at Gen Con!

"We are absolutely thrilled to see record-breaking turnout, a loaded Exhibit Hall, and nearly 30,000 exciting events for our attendees in 2025,” said David Hoppe, President of Gen Con. “This incredible growth reflects the enthusiasm and increasing interest in the tabletop gaming community, and we are delighted to welcome thousands of attendees to celebrate our shared love for games. Together, we are not just creating memories; we are shaping the future of this vibrant culture."

Game on at Gen Con

Lucas Oil Stadium was packed with gamers set to face the challenges ahead, while others plotted their comeback. The best four days in gaming means there is always something entertaining for players of every age to experience!

With all of the exhibitors and vendors at Gen Con it is also the place to try out all kinds of games like the new releases from Mugen Gaming. They presented the first official English-language materials for Sword World RPG, which is among Japan’s most beloved fantasy tabletop roleplaying game. "I'm so excited! Something like this I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams. The fan community has been looking forward to this," said Aniodia, Sword World RPG Community Leader.

What’s great is for Mugen games fans is there’s a free downloadable PDF, the Sword World RPG Quickstart, that is an early release of the 2.5 system. This version includes everything new players need to begin adventuring: an overview of the core rules, a solo adventure, a ready-to-play one-shot campaign, and pre-generated characters.

Cheers to everyone, from the sponsors, game designers and gamers, to the crews behind the scenes, and attendees of all ages for making this one of best gaming experiences!
