Imagine what this is like for Brickyard drivers - get out and hit the peddle - a race for fun and fans. That's what we enjoy most about racing - when driver's themselves really enjoy the moment. They certainly did at The Dirt Track at IMS that had race fans cheering and on their feet. What a exciting night for racing - for everyone!
With a field of exceptional drivers and winners of previous races, like Stoops Pursuit winner Zeb Wise and defending BC39 winner Brady Bacon it was anyone's race to win. It just happens that it came down to Kyle Larson battling Michael Pickens and Justin Grant at the end of the race.
Talk about action - it's scary how these cars slide around track. We held our breathe when Michael flipped his car, and then, Justin did the same - this is crazy! Heart-pounding, we watched Kyle avoid the wreaks - he spun - made it out of it - then, went on to take the win!
Thankfully, both Justin and Michael were okay. Wow, what a race though. Now, race fans have more thrills to look forward to at the track. It's already starting out to be a exciting weekend series of races - we can't wait to see what happens next at IMS!
