The Kalamazoo Valley Museum is one location celebrating the statewide Astronomy Night (SWAN) is set for Friday, April 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. Designed by noted museum architect, E. Verner Johnson, it was in February 1996 when the Kalamazoo Valley Community College opened the new 60,000-square-foot state-of-the-art museum facility in Michigan. Since then, the museum has shared the joy of wonder with us, and continues to offer events like Astronomy Night to experience.
Admission is free to the Kalamazoo Valley Museum and this event will include:

- Hands-on activities and crafts
- Interactive demonstrations

Science Festival and SWAN
