Ready For A Trip? Picture Yourself In A National Park



At the heart of preservation of a nations natural treasures is the National Park Foundation, who continue their work through generous donations from people like us. Their theme this year is - Picture Yourself in a Park, and nothing is easier to do than recall a timeless visit to one of the beautiful landscapes that offers so much to experience. 

Those who have a love of the great outdoors can find plenty of biking trails to explore. Perhaps, you prefer canoeing, white-water rafting, or simply relaxing lakeside - you can do that too! In the winter a whole new level of adventure begins with skiing and other outdoor activities along with wildlife viewing.

On of our favorite things to to do take photos of majestic vistas and those fine delicate blossoms you find while wandering the trails in our nation's park. Other folks take the opportunity to bring out canvas and paint and capture nature's beauty with a wonderful watercolor paintings.

If you do happen to enjoy photography check out the current Wonder + Wander Photo Challenge. Trip photographs are iconic images and family treasures that capture the joys of visiting a park. This summer, Union Pacific Railroad and the National Park Foundation invite you to participate in the Wonder + Wander Photo Challenge and recreate a vintage park photo to show that exploring and enjoying America’s national parks is timeless. This should be a exciting experience!

Did You Know? There are one hundred electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in and near national parks across the country! This is thanks to a partnership with the National Park Foundation, National Park Service (NPS), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and BMW of North America.
