This is a exciting way to build excitement for Gen Con, and let gamer's like us experience new demo copies of games to be released at Gen Con. The live streaming was a great addition to Gen Con, in which many participating stores joined in on, and shared enhanced the in-store experience with other events and promotions. We are certainly looking forward to more of these satellite events, and other interactive opportunities.
Gen Con brings together some great folks who happen to love gaming. And, we want to thank all of you who helped Gen Con give generously to their Charity Partners - Game To Grow and Special Olympics Indiana. It's wonderful when people unite and give back on such a huge level, and Gen Con took giving further by uniting with Make-A-Wish®! Together, Gen Con and Make-A-Wish® made it possible for 13-year-old Drake Kiderlen of Troy, MO, and his family who is battling a pineal parenchymal tumor, to attend the convention and experience gaming firsthand!
