Summer MusicWorks
Among the upcoming programs available is MusicWorks that presents music lessons for everyone. Tune into your inner musician and learn how to read music, develop good playing skills, and understand the basics of music theory. With talented teachers excited to share their love for music, this is a chance to strum up some fun.
Fairy House Fort
Another program for young artists is with Artist, Kathi Hart, who helps 6 to 12 year old children craft their own magical fairy house! In this project, you’ll use natural materials that include clay, leaves, shells, stones, and flowers to make these enchanting homes.
Creative Party Plans
Ceramic Party - For a unique experience, gather your group for a private ceramic party with an artist. This program brings together 3D studio access, clay, instruction, bisque and glaze firing, and glaze choice. See the Art Place website for details and this and other group activities available.
Doll Making
Young artist’s from age 8 to 17 create a colorful and creative rag doll at Art Place. This handmade doll project teaches the techniques to craft a treasured work of art.
