The theme of the Indiana State Fair this year is: “The Soundtrack of Summer” and there’s going to be a full schedule of activities to join. From August 1-17 the Indianapolis fair grounds will be filled with so much to experience, including:
A immersive music-themed exhibit - The Art of Music Experience - that celebrates the stories behind legendary album covers. From the archives they have crafted large-scale hand-painted displays from classic albums, some you may have in your own collection. Check out the Vinyl Revival as well that is an interactive exhibit featuring live mural painting and neon vibes daily from 9AM–9PM in Harvest Pavilion.
Later, let your creativity heat up at the IKONIC DIY Glass Workshop. The unique experience shares the wonder of glassblowing at the Fair. Ideal for all ages 10+, the hands on event let you melt, shape, and take home your very own creation.
From one end of the State Fair to another there will be something for everyone to do. Look for special guest appearances, shows, along with thrilling moments at the ABATE Tiny Tots Riding Experience. The fun family activity gives children the chance to experience the thrill of motorsports, and riding a motorcycle on a safe, designated course.
