HarperCollins Children’s Books announced DECOY SAVES OPENING DAY by Shohei Ohtani and Michael Blank, and celebrated illustrator, Fanny Liem, set for publication in February. The children’s book is inspired by Shohei’s iconic and adorable pup, Decoy, and is entertaining for young readers and baseball fans alike.

Sports fans enjoy watching Ohtani on the field as well as Decoy, who’s become an internet sensation. This young canine has even thrown out the first pitch at Dodgers Stadium in August of last year!
