The National Air and Space Museum is a place to learn about aviation and space exploration. The museum has many interactive exhibits that are fun for kids of all ages, and a vast collection of aircraft, rockets, and other aviation artifacts.
Within the collection at National Air and Space Museum is the 1903 Wright Flyer, the Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia, and the Star Trek Starship Enterprise Studio Model.
The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except on December 25 and January 20. Free timed-entry passes are required, and available on the National Air and Space Museum website, where you’ll also find current events and scheduled aviation and space programs to join.
