Gather and game, Gen Con is set to return to Indianapolis, Indiana July 31 - August 3. They had another record setting year, with a sold-out crowd of over 71,000 attendees, and over 540 exhibiting companies. Gen Con also united us to in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons. The Indianapolis convention featured a series of events, special guests, along with a pop-up D&D Museum.

Gen Con - Game Design Academy
United by a fusion of gaming and imagination, Gen Con gives attendees 4 epic days in Indianapolis to share their passion. This year is going to be especially exciting as Gen Con launches its inaugural Game Design Academy and certificate program at the 2025 convention.
Whether an aspiring game designer, or an educator, the Game Design Academy focuses on practical learning, with expert insights into game design principles for enthusiasts. The program runs from July 30 to August 3, 2025, concurrently with Gen Con’s Trade Day. The Academy will provide academic credit equivalence and is partnered with Ferris State University. Spaces are limited and registration is open.
