Located in southwest Ohio, as you come around the bend, you see it, the massive 30-acre permanent 16th-century England village. This Renaissance Festival runs on weekends and Labor Day from around September 5 – November 1st, and offers many themed weekends.
Dress up in your finest period clothes and mingle among the other costumed guests and villagers, who are excited to share their stories. With almost 100 live shows featured across the village at 14 stages, there's always laughter in the air.
Those seeking Old World gear will find over 150 artisan shops available offering those rare swords and iron works at the Blacksmith. Nearby you may find a seamtress that creates beautiful clothing and frocks. The sparkle of jewels and beauty of fine wood crafts can also be found, making it easy to shop for a great gift ideas.
Of course, if you stand in one spot for long and the smell of delicious food drifts by on the air. There's a lot of tasty food and refreshments along with mead and libations to sample. We love that the Ohio Renaissance Festival focuses on local and regional agricultural partnerships to untie the community.
