We’re excited to announce opening weekend for Holiday World includes a new family roller coaster. What’s happening at the Indiana theme park? Well, we’ve heard, Grandma Gracy's house frozen in time in the year 1965, as the immersive journey reveals as riders walk through the line.
Good Gravy! - This is Holiday World after all - where riders board a train shaped like a giant gravy boat. As crazy as that sounds, get ready for a blast as you travel at speeds of up to 37 mph to make more gravy and save Thanksgiving Dinner. Then, the roller coaster takes riders on a journey through a giant cranberry sauce can, and up a seven-story-tall spike - and - it returns on the same path - Backwards.
“The feedback from Good Gravy! from the day we announced and beyond has been overwhelming,” says Fourth-Generation Owner Leah Koch-Blumhardt. “The ride is going to be very popular this season.”
There’s more fun to come - this new ride is part of a larger Stuffing Springs addition to the theme park's Thanksgiving section. Holiday World has added a Cranberry Corner playground, plus, hilarious, giant kitchen accessories. Look for a new coffee and boba shop called the Perky Turkey in the Thanksgiving section, and adding coffee and boba to more locations.
The upcoming season brings the return of Holidays in the Sky with 500 drones, running from June 22 through August 2. Both parks are cashless with free cash-to-card kiosks are available onsite. Holiday World opens for the 2024 Season this Saturday, May 11. Go to the Holiday World website for more details, season packages, and tickets.
