While exploring Epcot at Walt Disney World we visited Japan within the World Showcase. This is the first introduction to the pop-culture sensation Kawaii. The exhibition in the Bijutsu-kan Gallery featured many favorite characters and revealed the passion many people have for Japan’s Cute Culture.
Kawaii Kon Set For March
After learning about the adorable characters, we were delighted to hear Kawaii Kon is set for March 29 - 31 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. This is a fantastic place to find all things Kawaii.
Guests at Kawaii Kon have the chance to meet fellow fans and the brilliant artists and actors that bring these characters to life in anime and games. Among the guests appearances are Christine Marie Cabanos Cassandra Lee Morris, and Erika Harlacher. Plus, also attending are Sarah Miller-Crews and Kon Keith Silverstein.
