Located in Indianapolis, the Indiana State Fairgrounds is set for an exciting year of events that include:
- At the Indiana Farmers Coliseum several action packed games are scheduled like IUPUI vs Detroit Mercy, and Indy Fuel vs. Jacksonville Icemen.
- The Indy RV Expo takes over the West Pavilion to showcase new motor homes, tent campers, fifth wheels, travel trailers and toy haulers from top name brand manufacturers.
- The 2024 Indiana State Fair Queen Program is set to for January in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
- Later, the Freeman's Super Sunday Auto Swap Meet takes place in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion. This is the Midwest's largest one day swap meet and car sale with over 500 indoor spaces to discover.
- Looking for something other than auto parts? The Greater Indianapolis Garage Sale and Marketplace is the largest garage sale in the Nation! Packed full of bargains, this is one event not to miss as it spreads over two pavilions offering items at great prices.
The Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center has so much more to experience in the coming months. The location is ideal because it is close to the city and surroundings communities, and major highways are just a short drive away. Among these other events are the Midwest Reptile Show, the Indianapolis Home Show, the Brewers Guild WinterFest, the Woodworking Show, the World's Greatest Hobby on Tour, plus, the Indiana Bridal and Wedding Expo.
Indiana Solar Eclipse Experience At The Fairgrounds
This year brings a amazing event to America - the Solar Eclipse, and Indiana State Fairgrounds has partnered with WTHR to share the experience. The gates are scheduled to open at 9am on April 8th, with the partial eclipse beginning around 1:40pm. All guests attending will receive a pair of complimentary eclipse glasses for the viewing.

Indiana State Fair
Of course, the Indiana State Fair is a fun summer tradition set for August 2nd through Sunday, August 18th. This year the Indiana State Fair theme will be - The Art and Nature of Fun, and they unite with Newfields to do so. Newfields is a 152-acre cultural campus in the heart of Indianapolis and is nearby, and home to world-class art galleries, and lush gardens among a nature preserve and sculpture park.
