The last weekend in April is the 1699 Historical Society’s Weekend of Discovery that celebrates the town's heritage during the reenactment of the Landing of d’Iberville. This is a great opportunity to discover the unique culture and history of Ocean Springs and the surrounding Gulf Coast. And, the 1699 Historical Society also host many fun activities throughout the year.
May is a wonderful to visit and join the Taste of Ocean Springs Food and Wine Festival during Mayfest. This festivities include a fun run 5K through the streets of Ocean Springs, music and pub crawl featuring country, reggae, jazz, blues, Latin, Americana, and rock 'n' roll. Also included are unique arts and crafts from the local artisan's, and plenty of tasty dining options.
