July 6th is National Fried Chicken Day. Fresh, fried chicken is a favorite for summer picnics. Where to go find some? Drive on over to the Country Restaurant at Eckert’s Belleville Farm that serves their Famous Fried Chicken. Also on the menu is creamy, delicious Mac 'N Cheese with Applewood Pulled Pork along with other tasty items to sample during an al fresco dining experience on their patio.
Eckert’s Farm is also known for their fresh picks and Sunflower Trail. The flowers are stunning in bloom. And, presently the Blackberries are ready, and the Peaches are almost there for picking. With the sunflowers and zinnias set to bloom in late July and early August.
