The thrill of racing takes us back to the classic cars cruising down the streets every weekend. A classic never goes out of style, and these cars are still drag racing today. Imagine that sound, the thunder of the engines roaring to life for the race is unforgettable, and makes hearts quicken with anticipation.
Speaking of anticipation, the count down has started for the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser and FuelTech on Saturday, July 15 at Muncie Dragway in Albany, Indiana. It's certainly going to be a full weekend of activities and racing at the Moser Engineering Big Bucks Shootout. And, things kick off Friday night with a $2,000-to-win race. Saturday is Sportsman Spectacular day, then comes Sunday that brings it all together for racers and fans.
Muncie Dragway host IHRA Sportsman Spectacular
Gates open 2 p.m. Friday with timed runs at 5:30 p.m. and eliminations at 8 p.m. Gates open 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday features time runs at 10 a.m. followed by racing. There is one time run for new entries only Sunday with racing to follow.
