Daytona Beach International Airport Is Traveler Focused

Daytona Beach International Airport is focused on travelers

The  Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is taking a unique and personal approach to enhancing the travel experience at their airport. To ensure the best experience possible for travelers, the DAB has customer service initiatives like the Mailback Program: If a passenger forgets something or loses something at the airport, the DAB customer experience team mails the item back to the passenger once they've reached their final destination.

Imagine That - The DAB is hosting a sign up for TSA PreCheck that will take place - Monday through Friday from May 23 through 27 in the baggage claim area from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. For travelers participating in the PreCheck allows flyers to experience a more efficient airport screening process by leaving on shoes, light jackets and belts and leaving laptops and compliant liquids in carry-on bags. Check the Daytona Beach International Airport website for this TSA PreCheck event.

Complimentary Postcards: The DAB has brought back the nostalgia of sending postcards during and after a memorable trip by having complimentary postcards and a postcard box in the concourse where passengers can drop their cards to be later stamped and mailed by the airport staff. This is a wonderful addition for a photo album or memento of your trip.

Since the airport's terminal renovation project was completed more than a year ago, you can also enjoy a number of amenities including a private mother's feeding room and a public library offering complimentary books, e-books, and audiobooks.
