Fishermen’s Village one of our favorite places to shop, dine, and stay while in the region. We are so excited to hear they are preparing for the annual Festival of Lights Holiday Showcase.
Imagine how many people it takes to install over one million lights! With all the holiday decor and lights it's going to be a magical place to visit this holiday season.
Due to the current pandemic there will be some changes - no opening ceremonies will be held. Daily viewing of the Festival of Lights Holiday Showcase will be featured November 15 – December 31.
One of the things we love about Fishermen’s Village are the open- air walkways - there's plenty of room to walk around. Of course, the beautiful sunsets along the Charlotte Harbor offer picture perfect photo ops. Looking for a bit of retail therapy - they have over 40 independently owned shops, boutiques, and galleries to explore.
After viewing the lights, find time to sip a drink or find a bite to eat at one of the wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed a lovely fresh fish dinner while watching the sunset - a amazing site to share.
Along with the holiday lights, you can return often to dance the night away with musical performances by local musicians like the Kat Orlando Duo. They are just one of many acts to play at the Fishermen’s Village.
