Ancient Peaks Winery Offers Sips and Zips

This season when visiting California wine country you’ll find activities and performances to join.

Ever crossed a 300-foot suspension bridge - you can at Ancient Peaks Winery! This is just one of the experiences offered at the winery that has a thrilling opportunity to sample great wines and a zip line adventure across the historic Santa Margarita Ranch.

It’s a part of the winery's Margarita Adventures outfit that operates six ziplines spanning more than 7,500 feet over oak woodlands, mountainsides, and the estate's own Margarita Vineyard. The winery also has a wildlife tour on which guides share the ranch history as they take you out to their favorite viewing areas.

Solve A Mystery

Do you have the sleuth sense to solve the Escape Room mystery? Gather and work together to solve the case of Rita, the librarian and Egyptologist, who has disappeared. Search her library for clues to find her and solve the mystery within one hour.

Other mysteries await, including aboard the Renegade. Teams work together aboard the Renegade, an intergalactic research vessel. Carry out a series of tasks and complete a systems upgrade to the ship’s General Artificial Intelligence Interface. Each team has time to solve the puzzles in one of the Escape Rooms if they figure out the clues.

After touring the wilderness, zip lining or escape room experience return to the tasting room for a Legacy Tasting of Pearl Collection wines paired with cheese and charcuterie.
