Artemis II Ignites NASA Spirit

Currently, the meteorologists at the U.S. Space Force’s 45th Weather Squadron report there’s an 80% chance of favorable weather conditions for the Artemis II flight. This is great news as NASA is in the final countdown for the historic Artemis II mission at the Kennedy Space Center.

With it being over 50 years since humans made the first journey to the Moon, the current Artemis II astronauts are ready for the journey!

The Artemis II crew includes

  • Commander, Reid Wiseman
  • Pilot, Victor Glover
  • Mission Specialist, Christina Hammock Koch
  • CSA Mission Specialist, Jeremy Hansen

Each mile into space the SLS/Orion goes gains the crew and NASA knowledge of space radiation, human health, and space communications. They will need every advantage as they prepare for the anticipated 2028 mission to the lunar surface.
