BMX racing has gained international recognition, especially after the premiere in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. And, among the only locations in the world to host Cement Flat-Track BMX Racing is East Moline in the Quad Cities region. The riders have their eyes on the prize as they compete in this USA BMX-sanctioned event. And, the events are a fantastic opportunity for racers of all ages.
Race For Life BMX Fund Raiser
The upcoming BMX qualifying events are exciting for riders, their families and tracks. Before we get to the schedule, let’s take a moment to thank everyone, who helped the BMX community raise $273,389.79 for Blood Cancer United through the Race for Life. Together, the incredible efforts of BMX riders and tracks show the unity of these communities to make a difference.

2026 Team USA World Qualifiers
Looking ahead, the USA BMX and USA Cycling proudly presents the 2026 Team USA World Qualifiers, giving riders who bike across the nation the chance to earn their place on Team USA and compete at the 2026 UCI BMX World Championships in Brisbane, Australia.
The qualifying events are set for:
- Friday, January 16, 2026 - Sunshine State Nationals, Cape Coral BMX, Cape Coral, FL
- Friday, March 6, 2026 - Lone Star Nationals, H Town BMX Supercross, Houston, TX
The full details for qualifying is located on the USA BMX website that explains the Top 8 riders in each age group (UCI Challenge class) at a qualifier will earn a spot to participate in the 2026 UCI World Championship for Team USA.
