The Chattanooga Zoo's largest expansion ever invites us to meet the resident animals. And, through their engaging animals chats and programs we can learn more about threatened habitats and ways to make a difference in our region as we explore.
- Expanded Giraffe Yard: Doubling their previous space with new trees for shade and nutrition.
- Warthogs: A spacious yard with a shallow pool and mud wallow.
- Servals: A sizable outdoor exhibit with tall climbing trees.
- Cape Porcupines: Indoor and outdoor space with close-up viewing windows.
- Aldabra Tortoises: A shaded outdoor enclosure.
The new nature area will have a peaceful stream and waterfalls. In addition to areas for interactive education and talks with keepers, who share the importance of conservation awareness.
