Pigeon Forge is a destination for all seasons, and they have new and entertaining activities to experience coming up starting in June. Let’s check out some of the fun to experience this year in the heart of the mountains.
A Jurassic Adventure at The Island
Travel to Pigeon Forge for an epic trip on a Jurassic Adventure at The Island. Look up in wonder as you come face to face with 22 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, each with interactive elements and sounds. Adding to the fun is a custom Island Fountain Show that tells the story of the dinosaurs.
For anyone who adores dinosaurs, this is an entertaining exploration of these prehistoric creatures that move and sound just like real dinosaurs! And there are plenty of educational opportunities to learn more about the massive 23-foot-tall Brachiosaurus and friends. This whole experience at The Island in Pigeon Forge is FREE!
More To Do In The Great Smoky Mountains
On your journey, discover the beauty of nature at one of the most visited national parks in America, where there are over 800 miles of trails to discover at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Travel back in time at the educational Titanic Museum Attraction or learn how they solve a mystery at the Alcatraz East Crime Museum.
Putt on to victory at the dessert-themed mini-golf at Crave Golf Club, and later in June, uncover more fun at the new Scooby-Doo! Mystery Putt located at the Mountain Mile. The first-ever 36-hole mini-golf course themed around Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang is an immersive attraction featuring two mini-golf courses, a gem mine, candy shop, and clubhouse.
Patriot Festival
Looking ahead to the 4th of July festivities, Pigeon Forge is set to celebrate with the annual Patriot Festival in Patriot Park. The family-friendly celebration includes entertainment, food trucks, games, and a fireworks display to end the night.
