Wine lovers traveling to Michigan can join Traverse City Uncorked from May 2nd through May 10th, at over 40 locations that are part of the Traverse Wine Coast. Download the digital mobile passport to start a self-guided wine tour, which unlocks a variety of discounts and experiences. And, for those who check into at least five wineries they can redeem their passport at Traverse City Tourism for a unique Uncorked towel. Plus, if you’re staying at a Traverse City area lodging partner you can be eligible to win a wine-themed vacation.

- Friday, May 2: Flagship Friday, a showcase of wines that define northern Michigan.
- Saturday, May 3: Run for the Rosés, is linked to Derby Day and a way to taste outstanding Rosés available in Traverse Wine Coast.
- Sunday, May 4: Sweet Sunday, with wines that appeal to your sweet tooth, including delightful dessert wines.
- Monday, May 5: Chardonnay Monday, a recognition of a classic varietal that brings bright flavors to area wines.
- Tuesday, May 6: Pinot & Pinot, dedicated to highlighting two of the area’s standout varietals — Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.
- Wednesday, May 7: The Perfect Blend, is a fusion of a mix of varietals that can include rich reds blended with refreshing whites.
- Thursday, May 8: Red, Red Thursday!: from velvety pinot noirs to bold cabernet francs, this is a way to explore the respected reds of the region.
- Friday, May 9: Riesling All Day!: a taste of this versatile wine that ranges from crisp and dry, to lusciously sweet.

Traverse City boasts a wide range of cool-climate wines. The region’s two peninsulas, Leelanau and Old Mission, are recognized for a microclimate that is suited for growing a variety of wine grapes. The two wine regions produce about 60 percent of Michigan Wines.
