Bowl-A-Thon Supports Huntington’s

 

Join the Bowl-A-Thon


The Indiana Affiliate of Huntington’s Disease Society of America will host the 2025 Bowl-A-Thon at Woodland Bowl. The event is set for Saturday, March 15th at 4pm.  during which participants and supporters will learn about Huntington’s disease and HDSA’s vital work. 


Founded in 1967 by Marjorie Guthrie, the wife of legendary folk singer Woody Guthrie, HDSA carries on the Guthrie legacy.  Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disorder affecting nerve cells in the brain, like ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s. 


Currently, about 41,000 Americans have the disease, and over 200,000 are at risk. From community services and education to advocacy and research, HDSA leads the world in providing help and hope for people with HD and their families. 


The 2025 Bowl-A-Thon will be at Woodland Bowl, 3421 East 96th St, Indianapolis, IN. All proceeds from the event will support HDSA’s mission, which you can learn about and support via hdsa.org.
