George Harrison: A Gardener’s Life is now on view until June 29th, 2025, at the Downtown Sarasota campus’s Tropical Conservatory, Gardens,


George Harrison: A Gardener’s Life, is the ninth installment of the Jean & Alfred Goldstein Exhibition Series. This exhibition explores the profound connection between George Harrison, legendary lead guitarist of The Beatles, and his passion for gardening. In a 1979 interview with Rolling Stone magazine, George acknowledged his love for gardening.


This February the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens presents Series 4: Painting in the Gardens en Plein Air. The Series Dates include: February 12 & 19, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Check the website for this and other exclusive events to join at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens!
