Germany Adds UNESCO World Heritage Sites

Germany has recently added two new sites to its UNESCO World Heritage List, bringing its total to 54. The new additions to the sites to tour are:


The Residence Ensemble Schwerin, located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, showcases 19th-century court culture with its palace, theater, museum, and surrounding natural beauty. 


The Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine settlements in Saxony, founded by the Moravian Church, are noted for their unique religious and social organization.


With the addition of these heritage sites Germany has the third-highest number of UNESCO sites to explore on your visit.
