Tuscan Women Cook In Montefollonico

Montefollonico, Italy is an architectural treasure with old, narrow streets, towers and scenic vistas. In addition to historic sites and collections to  admire, it is the taste of life that remains most memorable on a trip to Montefollonico.

In between admiring historic sites and collections take time for a taste of local foods. This is part of the memorable vacations offered by Tuscan Women Cook. The unique and popular culinary vacation located in the heart of Tuscany celebrates the food and culture of the Italian region of Montefollonico.

This week-long program brings together a group of 16 participants, who learn to cook authentic Italian recipes from local grandmothers, or “nonnas of Montefollonico.” This is a delicious experience for those who enjoy traditional foods prepared with recipes handed down from generation to generation.

“Tuscan Women Cook is proud of our deep relationships forged with the residents and businesses of Montefollonico. We’ve been here since 2000 and feel deeply connected to this community,” stated Los Angeles-based owner and host, Coleen Kirnan. “The warm welcome our guests receive from the residents and the personal ties we have with the very best vintners, restaurateurs, and, of course, our cherished nonnas, gives our guests unparalleled, exclusive access to a true Italian culinary experience.”
