Of the upcoming exhibitions at the Stuhr Museum is On The Homefront: WWII In Nebraska that highlights how Americans lived at home during  WWII. The war took its toll on the service men and women and 3,626 called Nebraska their home. Hall County, Nebraska honors 78 of those who called the region home. The photographs, artifacts, and stories in this exhibit will offer viewers a clearer understanding of how WWII impacted the lives of ordinary Nebraskans on the Homefront. 


This exhibit at the Stuhr Museum is open daily from May 18 – August 25, 2024. The Stuhr Museum is one of the nation's Top Ten Living History Museums - and has been named "one of the top '10' places to relive America's past" by Good Housekeeping magazine.  Check the Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer website other exhibits, events, and activities to join.
