Florida’s leading animal attraction is ZooTampa that is a 12-time winner of Trip Advisor Travelers’ Choice Award. The zoo features over 1,000 animals from around the world, from African elephants and Indian rhinos to Australian koalas and native Floridian manatees. The zoo also recently opened an area called Florida Wilds, which features expanded habitats for endangered and threatened native species.

Prehistoric Predators At The Zoo
Alligators and crocodiles are among the impressive reptiles in Florida. Now through the end of April the Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park offers a awe-inspiring adventure that takes you back to when the oldest reptiles and dinosaurs roamed the earth in their Prehistoric Predators exhibition. This exhibit is a limited-time event where you can get up close to 15 colossal animatronic predators of the past.
