Connersmith Exhibitions - REUNION - Artful Insights Of Color

Connersmith Exhibitions - STRANGE ATTRACTORS - Artful Insights Of Color

CONNERSMITH shares the world through the creative lens of artists. Each view sparks the imagination and a appreciation for the arts. One such exhibition is - REUNION - that presents Washington Color paintings by Sam Gilliam, Alma Thomas, Howard Mehring, Thomas Downing, Gene Davis, and Hilda Shapiro Thorpe. This exhibit series runs through December 9, 2023.

Time and again, we are drawn back to admire the Contemporary and Post-War Art as only CONNERSMITH can present. Located near the the Smithsonian Institution, in the Logan Circle/Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC, CONNERSMITH - promotes art that contributes to important art-historical movements, with particular focuses on innovations in color-field abstraction, figural realism, and current discourses on race, gender and social justice.
