Champion Sprinter Roy H Joins Kentucky Horse Park's Hall of Champions

Horse fans head to Lexington, Kentucky to meet a true champion at the Kentucky Horse Park! They recently announced that Roy H, a super speedy racehorse, who won the big races not once, but twice, is now living in the amazing Hall of Champions Barn

"Roy H had an outstanding racing career, and having him join the Hall of Champions allows us to celebrate his many racing accomplishments," shared Lee Carter, President of the Kentucky Horse Park. "He joins a long list of champion Thoroughbreds who have resided at the park, and we are thankful to Peter Miller for allowing us to share his story. Any fan of horse racing will enjoy the opportunity to meet Roy H."

Roy H, a handsome guy bred right here in Kentucky, started his racing journey in 2015. After an incredible career, winning 10 races and earning over $3 million! After he retired in 2019, he even became a sweet barn pony for his former trainer, Peter Miller, who loved him so much he became his owner. "Roy H was a once-in-a-lifetime horse," said Peter Miller. "He was the best sprinter of his generation, winning back-to-back Breeders’ Cup Sprints and Eclipse Awards. He was a joy to train and be around – all class, all the time. I look forward to visiting him at the Kentucky Horse Park."
