Art Basel Miami - Fierce and Beautiful

Created by Basel gallerists, Ernst Beyeler, Trudl Bruckner and Balz Hilt, the inaugural international art fair brought together over 16,000 travelers, who explored 90 galleries and 30 publishers from 10 countries. 

Art Basel Miami had record breaking year - the event united 282 premier galleries from 38 countries and territories, including 25 galleries participating in the fair for the first time. Plus, the event saw the return  of multiple international exhibitors after a brief hiatus.

The above photo is a favorite of those featured by Barry Fellman, who shared his new photo book and exhibit, titled - Miami Creative: A Decade of Transformation. In this book he shares 15 of Miami’s leading visual artists.
