Indian Market and Festival Returns To The Eiteljorg

When was the last time you visited the Eiteljorg Museum? This is one of America's amazing museums that shares works by extraordinary Native American and Western Artists. They have added some wonderful events and programming to experience for the whole family, including the fantastic #SummerUnderTheSails concert series that features musicians like Son of Hwéeldi.

The best part of the Eiteljorg summer series is that it runs between 5 and 8 p.m. every Wednesday in June and July. This makes it the perfect way to come down to the beautiful White River State Park and explore the indoor galleries before the free concert under The Sails.

One of our favorite events at the Museum is the Eiteljorg Indian Market and Festival that celebrates Native American art, history and cultures. Guess what? Son of Hwéeldi will be playing along with over 100 other performers!

Oh yes, do not forget about the wonderful exhibits showing that includes the those like Bringing Friends Together: Contemporary Hopi Carvings from the Eagle, Perelman And Rader Collections. The one thing we love about the Eiteljorg Museum is the extensive collection of Native American art to share with us each season. There's also something new and unexpected to experience, and this includes A Sense Of Beauty: Showcasing The Power and Beauty In Native Art - a must-see collection with many works that have NEVER been on display!

Gather your family and friends for two days of Native performers and artists from more than 50 Native American cultures from across the U.S. and Canada.  There will be beautiful and creative works by artists, plenty of tasty food to sample, and that's just a start to the weekend's exciting events.

This one-of-a-kind cultural experience has made the Indian Market and Festival one of the most memorable cultural events in the Midwest!

Come see why and embrace the moment!
