Join the Indiana State Museum and the Boy Scouts of America Crossroads of America Council in early April 5 for the Pinewood Derby to race your derby cars down the two-story, 125-feet of track. Registration is before 1 p.m. for the official race. There is a low admission fee for Boy Scouts and their families.
Also, don't forget to enter your Pinewood Derby car in the museum’s Best in Show competition. The Best in Show cars wil be awarded based on visual design, and must be registered by 2 p.m. for the Best in Show.
Dr. Joe Harder, Associate Professor Management Information Systems at ISU and Dr. Joyce Young, Professor of Marketing at ISU will be on hand to uncover the Science of Speed behind the Pinewood Derby.
