As September rolls in it welcomes the start of fall and many celebrations and events. There is Smithsonian's National Museum Day, along National Public Lands Day, and World Rhino Day! Our friend, Raj Solanki, created his Rhino warrior friend, George, who has been protecting his small village in Africa, and he joins other Artist's in raising awareness for conservation and protection for these beautiful and nearly extinct Rhino's. It is sad to think that like other species on our planet the rhino's are critically endangered. So, much so, that both the Javan species in Asia, and Sumatran species in Africa are threatened by the global poaching crisis.
Ronnie Wood Share's His Creation To Raise Conservation Awareness

If you're in London, you may have seen the amazing sculptures displayed at a number of iconic sites including Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and Carnaby Street. We hope you've had a chance to explore the trail and discover the crash of rhinos that were painted by artist's like Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones, along with Marc Quinn. Plus, there is artist's Gavin Turk, Axel Scheffler, the Chapman Brothers and other leading international artist's that include Charming Baker, Glen Baxter, Nick and Rob Carter, Eileen Cooper, Nancy Fouts, Nick Gentry, Zhang Huan, Patrick Hughes, David Mach, Gerry McGovern, Harland Miller, Mauro Perruchetti, Dave White, David Yarrow, and Jonathan Yeo. These wonderful people, along with our friend, Raj Solanki, have united to help spread the word, and make a difference.
Little Things Matter In A Big Way
When it comes to conservation and saving our endangered species every little thing we do to raise awareness helps. Just by visiting these stunning works of art in London that will be on display for World Rhino Day in Mid September makes a difference. When in London, you'll find all 21 rhinos along the trail for which a map is available online via the Tusk Rhino Trail that is presented by ISPS Handa in partnership with Land Rover. Later, in October they will be auctioned off by Christie's with proceeds raised will provide vital support for continued conservation projects protecting rhino and other iconic African species.
Plan Your Trip To A National Park
Please note that the Tusk Rhino Trail Exhibit is a Temporary exhibit, and those sculptures on display in London will be auctioned off to support conservation in early October. If you cannot see this exhibit in person, then visit your local zoo where you can see the real Rhino's, and learn more about their habitats, and still support conservation efforts.
Thank you to all of the Artist's for their beautiful creations and helping raise awareness for World Rhino Day.
And, thank you to our friend, Raj Solanki is an emerging illustrator based in Denver, Colorado. His goal is to be a full-time artist with desire to break into the comic book industry. Right now he simply works to constantly get better at his craft while sharing his journey with the world.
