RVer Brad Herzog Shares His Memorable Trips Across America
In
2010 the RV industry is marking its 100th anniversary. It's not hard to
imagine when you think of how enjoyable traveling in a RV can be, and for
best-selling author and RVer Brad Herzog it's a trip worth taking. To make
these memorable trips Brad has compiled several top-100 road travel lists.
One of our favorites list are the traveling tunes that includes at number one On the Road Again by Willie Nelson. Second on his list is Me and Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin, Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf), Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen, and the classic King of the Road by Roger Miller.
Brad has also highlighted some of our favorite movies featuring RVs. These include RV in 2006), Lost in America in 1985, Independence Day in 1996, Stripes in 1981, and a classic called The Long, Long Trailer in 1953.
Brad and his family have traveled through 48 states in an RV, and since 1996 has logged more than 110,000 miles . Throughout his journey, he’s been on shows like Oprah and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. His recent book, published by Citadel Press, Turn Left at the Trojan Horse, offers his RV road trip version of the Greek epic The Odyssey.
Their entertaining journey takes us on a exciting road trip that explores America. Along the way discovered some of the best small-town slogans, most scenic drives, quirkiest museums, and some goofiest town names. Just imagine what you'll discover on your trip!
