Relax At Wisconsin's Campgrounds And RV Parks, And Enjoy Many Activities

Paul Bambei, president and CEO of the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds reveals a new experience for campers, “You don’t have to be a hiking or fishing enthusiast to have fun in America’s campgrounds. Private campground are providing campers organized activities, special events and rental accommodations that allow their guests to stay for longer periods of time.”

While at these private campgrounds you'll find many are offering entertainment and some even have outdoor cooking competitions involving everything from barbecued ribs, chicken and steak to clam chowder, gumbo and jambalaya.

When it comes to entertainment for your family and friends you may find yourselves joining wacky competitions that range from diaper changing races for Dads on Father’s Day to chocolate pudding wresting matches and even water balloon wars. Also offered at many private campgrounds are activities that range from arts and crafts classes to  competitive events. In the evening sit back and relax while you enjoy a outdoor movie, sing along around the campfire, and there's even Karaoke competitions, murder mystery dinners and nighttime scavenger hunts held at some private campgrounds.
