Saturdays and Sundays are great for the whole family at the Barton Creek Resort and Spa. Lounge around the pool or par-take in the poolside fun scheduled throughout the year, which includes the tunes spun by a disc jockey during poolside cookouts from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Guests can also join the Blues and Barbeque festivities over Memorial Day Weekend from 6 pm – 10 pm which take place by the Barton Creek Resort and Spa's Resort Pool. Each year guests will hear and dance to tunes by top artist like the Legendary Texas Blues Master, W.C. Clark, who has mentored countless young blues artists, including Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan. During the festivities savor the smoked Texas brisket, St. Louis Spare Ribs, grilled Chicago style bratwurst along with the blues.
From 6 pm – 10 pm on Saturday over the Fourth of July Weekend the Barton Creek Resort and Spa invites guest to sample the tasty dishes served at the Lobster Boil Buffet at the Resort Pavilion. Austin’s favorite Latin Salsa band, The Brew, will be on hand to get you in the dancing mood with their electrifying Latin-Jazz. Salsa dance instructors will also be available to help guests find their groove. Afterwards relax and enjoy the spectacular fireworks show from the Resort Pavilion, the pool, or the Hill Country Veranda.
Everyday is an exciting chance for families to share quality time together and creating lasting memories. Grab some free popcorn and sodas and take in a Family movie on Fridays in the hotel amphitheater. During holiday weekends families can challenge one another to a friendly game in the special indoor game room dedicated to ping pong, air hockey, video games, foosball, Pac Man, and other video arcade games. New Macintosh computers were recently installed so older, computer-savvy children can play age-appropriate video games. Other activities are offered include story time, puzzles, arts and crafts and more.
Kid’s Club at Barton Creek Resort and Spa is open 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday, and till 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday for busy moms and dads. Kid’s Club is a dedicated indoor facility that resort guests may utilize for children ages six months to 8 years.
Bring your clubs and racket to participate in the Barton Creek Resort's outdoor activities. Drop in on a tennis clinic and practice your backhand throughout the week or try join the men’s and women’s doubles. The Barton Creek Resort and Spa has Junior Tennis Day Camps and Clinics for ages 4 and up from May through August. The Barton Creek Resort has a special day set aside for Golf Fans. On Saturday's join the “Beat the Golf Pro Day” on the two Fazio golf courses or head off on your own on the 72 holes of nationally acclaimed championship golf course.
