Fall will be a entertaining adventure in Hershey, PA starting
with Creatures of the Night at the ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park.
On your visit you'll have the
unique opportunity to see the nocturnal habits of more than 200 animals.
Included in the one-price admission to Hersheypark in the Dark, the 11-acre Zoo features pumpkin treats for select animals, the opportunity to touch a reptile and more. Don't forget to visit the Zoo’s ghostly gator of the swamps, an albino alligator. The white gator will be on exhibit until the end of the year.
Nearby is the Hershey Gardens that lights up the night with more than 150 uniquely carved illuminated pumpkins during its annual Pumpkin Glow. Kids ages 12 and younger are invited to come in costume, listen to a garden-themed story time and collect candy treats at stops along the Gardens’ paths. Family and friends will also learn about the importance of “being green” by walking through the Recycling Graveyard. Pumpkin Glow is on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 8 p.m.
For those who love chocolate you'll enjoy a hands-on Chocolate Lab class to learn about the unique qualities of chocolate at The Hershey Story Museum.
Seasonal classes include “Chocolate Cobweb Creations” and “Build a Batty Bar,” which are offered daily from Mid October through the end of the month. Tickets for the Chocolate Lab can pre-purchase up to a week in advance by calling 717-534-8939.
Kids also can visit Black Cat Alley on the lower level of the museum to make a light-up pin using vintage Hershey’s advertising images. Black Cat Alley activities are on Saturdays and Sundays starting in Mid October.
