Cleveland Marriott Downtown Is Perfect For Business or Pleasure
We
recently stayed at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center, which is
located in the heart of Cleveland's business district near the Quicken Loans
Arena and the Cleveland Browns stadium. When visiting Cleveland you'll find
not only great accommodations like the Marriott, but also an abundance of
wonderful attractions and events to enjoy.
There are world-class hotels, amazing museums, and the people, well the people of Cleveland are among of the friendliest folks we've met in the Midwest! Yes, the folks in Cleveland are more than happy to help when you have a question or need assistance with directions. And, the city works very hard to make sure that those who call Cleveland home as well as their guests enjoy all this city has to offer!
The Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center rises 25 stories above the city and attached to Key Tower, which is where we enjoyed a few cups of coffee at Starbuck's. It is here that we first encountered the home-town charm and friendly welcome. Ronald, who works at the Marriott, and always greeted us with a smile, was just one of the friendly staff who assisted us and answered our questions about the city. From the moment we arrived everyone at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center made sure we had everything we would need to make sure we enjoyed our visit.
One of the features we liked was the ability to utilize the internet in the business center, located near the lobby, and to be able to print our boarding pass at a special station designed specifically for travelers! Speak to a Marriott Host or Concierge and they can help you plan a conference and meeting for large or small event. There are also 19 meeting rooms, 17,000.0 sq ft of total meeting space, 5 concierge levels, and business Services like Fax service, a Notary public, Overnight delivery/pickup, Post/parcel services, and a Translator.
The Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center's guest rooms are very comfortable. Along with views of the lake and city, rooms include flat-screen TVs, wireless high-speed Internet access, luxury bedding that include down comforters, cotton-rich linens and down pillows. Guest Services include Cash machine/ATM, Concierge desk, Evening turndown service, Housekeeping service daily, Laundry facilities on-site, Local restaurant dinner delivery, Newspaper delivery to rooms and available in the lobby, Room service is available from 6:00 AM-1:00 AM, Safe deposit boxes, front desk services, Shoeshine stand, and Valet dry-cleaning. These are just a few of the great amenities we have come to expect from the Marriott brand of resorts and hotels like the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center.
We found when staying at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center that when it came time to enjoy all the attractions and events downtown we were within walking distance of almost everything! We strolled down to the world's first museum dedicated to the living heritage of rock and roll music; the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. And next door to it we found more than 350 exhibits and daily demonstrations plus the 6-story Omni-Max Theater at the Great Lakes Science Center. Sports fans can catch all the action at the Quicken Loans Arena, the Cleveland Browns stadium, and Progressive Field where we enjoyed a Indians game!
This is only the beginning of what Cleveland has to offer. Nearby are many fine restaurants and night clubs like the House of Blues, historic theaters presenting entertaining Broadway shows, and Cleveland also has plenty of shopping areas. These are not your typical malls, no, Cleveland has transformed several historic market places into shopping venues that are visual treasures for those who enjoy historic architecture.
