And, during this event New Mexico's Scorpion chile is competing for the title of hottest chile in the world.
Gather your girl friends for a getaway and join the annual Women and Creativity Celebration. This festive event includes engaging exhibits, performances and creative talents presented by arts organizations, artists, writers and business owners in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Experience the traditions of New Mexico's Native American's during the largest pow wow in North America. The Annual American Indian Week: Pueblo Days runs from Mid April through Early May. This week-long celebration of dance features many exciting events that celebrate the Pueblo Indian Tribes and other American Indian heritage. If you can't make it in May, then plan to visit Albuquerque in June for the Festival Flamenco Internacional de Albuquerque that showcases the best of Albuquerque's arts, culture and cuisine.
