Endless Entertainment To Enjoy In Branson

Widely regarded as the “Entertainment Capital of America,” Branson features more than 100 live shows per day, and a variety of impressive attractions. Among the offerings is the new $420-million Branson Landing in historic downtown which features festivals, musical events, a variety of new waterfront dining options, and more than 400,000 sq. ft. of national brand-name shops, galleries and specialty gift shops. Other Branson offerings include Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater Complex, and Celebration City, an all-in-one nighttime family-fun park.

The regal Remington Theatre located at 3701 West HWY 76 in Branson is home to many great performances, including Cirque. Before the show and during intermission a friendly Hobo wanders about chasing imaginary butterflies and tickled our funny bones with his antics. This high-flying show performed by an International cast of highly trained of artists takes guests into a world where amazing acrobats take flight. Glamorous costumes and a lovely serenade fill the air and the imagination as the show unravels. Of course, this is one show we enjoy, and there are so many others that include gospel, country legends, old time favorites, as well as comedy. So, you'll find plenty of entertainment on and off the stage to enjoy while in Branson.

While out and about drop in at the Uptown Café just off Highway 76 for a bite to eat. The moment we walked through the door we were greeted by the hostesses dressed in poodle shirts. In the background classic songs of the era enhance the 50's style décor. The moderate prices and friendly service keep regular customers and travelers coming back for a memorable meal.

A visit to the Hollywood Wax Museum stirs up memories of Hollywood classics like Dorothy clicking her ruby slippers and uttering, “There's no place like home.” Some of Hollywood's classic moments are captured in the Museum including The Terminator, starring the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hollywood Wax Museum sits on the strip at 3030 W. Highway 76. (800) 720-4110.
