    Dearborn Highlands Arts Council Presents Silver Arm Performance

    Enjoy a afternoon of traditional Celtic and folk music with Silver Arm, on Saturday in Mid March at 2:00 pm in the Depot Room, Lawrenceburg Public Library, Mary Street, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

    The Free admission to this program is made possible by the Resources Foundation, Inc. and Lawrenceburg Public Library, of which the Classics Series is made possible through the generosity of the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council, Inc..

    Silver Arm has engaged audiences with their energetic instrumentals, haunting ballads and spirited performances for 23 years. They have also worked with such luminaries as Erich Kunzel, John Morris Russell, Ged Foley, Kevin Crehan, L.E. McCullough, Todd Denman, Liz Knowles and Kieran O'Hare. In addition to working with such great artist, Silver Arm has appeared with the Cincinnati Symphony, Pops and Ballet Tech and are featured on the animation DVD by Jen Delyth "Beyond the Ninth Wave". And, they are well-known for their musicianship, creativity and respect for tradition with a contemporary touch.

    Their CDs, "The Beech Tree" (1998) "Never Despair" (2001)and "Links" (2006. ), feature lively Irish dance music, beautiful ballads and Swedish, French and Romanian selections along with Irish music.
