What would a trip to the Shreveport-Bossier area be without a visit to the
Louisiana Boardwalk? A highlight of a family vacation and perfect place for a
bit of shopping; the “Boardwalk” has an abundance of new, exciting activities
and entertainment for all ages to experience. On each trip to the Boardwalk we
find new shops to explore like the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Dress Barn,
Reebock/Rockport, Guess, Wilson’s Leather, Haggar, Kitchen Collection, and Ultra
Jewelers. Having a variety of shops makes it nice when looking for that special
gift for any occasion.
In addition to shopping, they are a variety of activities available, including movies, bowling, eating, gaming, boating, dancing fountains, live theater, trolley and carousel rides and light shows. With so much to do it easy to see why the “Boardwalk” is a popular Southern destination in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Located along the Red River, the Boardwalk features well-known restaurants like Joe’s Crab Shack, Hooters, San Francisco Oven, Cold Stone Creamery, and Buffalo Wild Wings. After lunch visit Zodo’s Bowling and Beyond; a favorite of our kids. Regal Cinemas has plenty of screens showing the latest movies, the Fun Factory is a great place for families, and there are concerts and other major festivals to enjoy as well. Kids especially enjoy the life-size games of checkers and chess and the dancing water fountains, which they can play in.
Whether shopping, dining at one of the great restaurant's, or enjoying a day of entertainment; there's always something happening at the Boardwalk!
