Offering a diverse dinner menu of seafood, The Oceanaire is one of the Indianapolis Restaurant that have participated in the ‘Devour Downtown’ event. The Oceanaire was the recipient of the “Distinguished Restaurants of North America DiRoNA” award in 2008 and voted “Best Restaurant” by Indianapolis Monthly in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and “Best Seafood Restaurant” by NUVO 2005-2009. “When selecting items for the Devour Downtown, we decided to feature the Wild Alaskan Salmon Agrodolce and the Potato Crusted Lake Superior Lake Trout as it is peak season for Wild Salmon and lake Trout alike.” said Richard Edwards, VP Operations for The Oceanaire, co-founder of ‘Devour Downtown’ and President of Indianapolis Restaurant and Hospitality Association. “’Devour Downtown’ gives Indianapolis residents the opportunity to explore fine dining establishments at an affordable price point and we want to make sure our guests receive the freshest, most innovative seafood dishes in the city.”
On the previous menu was New England Clam Chowder, Chopped House Green Salad with Oceanaire Vinaigrette, House Cured Salmon Traditional Garniture for the first course. Then enjoy Cioppino San Francisco Fisherman’s Stew, Potato Crusted Lake Superior Lake Trout with Roasted Tomatoes and Garlic, or Wild Alaskan Salmon Agrodolce with Cherries, Smoked Almonds and Golden Raisins. Of course, you must save room for dessert, which could include Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp, Valrhona Chocolate Mousse, Sugar Cookie Dreamsicle.
