Queen Kapiolani Hotel, The Hotel With Hawaiian History
Hawaii’s beloved Queen Kapiolani, the hotel’s Victorian décor evokes
memories of Hawaii’s yesteryear. Upon entering the hotel the Queen welcomes
her guest into her gracious era with a beautiful full-length portrait. Other
portraits of Hawaiian royalty, which are really neat, can be found on the
second and third floors of the hotel. It’s really intriguing how the history
surrounds you as soon as your enter the lobby. And the lobby is open and
airy with a really comfortable lounging area, gift shop and a tourist
activity help desk. The tourist activity help desk is awesome with helping
visitors arrange excursions, activities and cruises. The staff is extremely
helpful, courteous and very professional.
The Queen Kapiolani Hotel is located in Waikiki near the foot of the majestic Diamond Head, and overlooks the 108–acres of Kapiolani Park. What is really great about the hotel is its location, it is just steps from the world famous Waikiki Beach, lots and lots of shopping, dining and great entertainment. You are literally walking distance from all the fun and excitement in Waikiki.
The hotel’s 315 rooms offer some of the most breathtaking views of Hawaii’s two famous landmarks: Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach with the beautiful Pacific Ocean crashing along its shoreline. One thing I found unique is that the Queen Kapiolani Hotel is at the end of the Waikiki Strip. There are no obstructions of buildings or structures of the absolutely magnificent views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach.
From economical hotel rooms to studios with kitchenettes and one-bedroom suites, plus they all have extremely comfortable beds, the Queen Kapiolani Hotel is ideally suited for business or pleasure. For special occasions, the hotel’s banquet facilities offer seating for up to 500 guests. This is a great place that can be full of wonderful experiences and they are all waiting for you in Hawaii at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel---where memories begin.
