Roswell's Craft Brewery Industry has grown since the

Roswell's First Brewing Company,
Gate City, is located at the corner of Canton
and Magnolia Streets in the towns Historic District. The name is rooted in
neighboring Atlanta's historical moniker as the "Gate City of the New South"
because of its reputation as a hub for culture, commerce and transportation.
The logo - the phoenix rising - is a testament to the grit, perseverance and sheer will of the city and region alike. Gate City strives to brew beers that embody the very same independent spirit. Be sure to check their website for all the happenings that include live music, and tasty offerings from food trucks weekly.
Abbey of the Holy Goats
A small-scale craft brewery,
Abbey of the Holy Goats, is the first female
owned brewery in Georgia. Brewmaster, and founder Kathy Davis, considered
starting a goat farm in some remote wilderness or pursuing her passion of
producing her award-winning Belgian-style beers for the public. The brewery won
out, and Abbey of the Holy Goats was born. The Abbey produces beers designed for
perfect food pairing.
Open to the public for ages 21 & up, Abbey of the Holy Goats serves beer by the glass & flights (a tasting of several beers), just like a bar. In addition, guests are able to take up to a case of beer home with them.
Earth Brewing Company
There’s From The Earth Brewing Company that is the first brewpub in Roswell that features locally sourced cuisine, world-class beer, and craft cocktails in a fun, easygoing environment. From the Earth offers 10-12 house beers, 4-6 rotating local/regional drafts, and a non-alcoholic root beer.
The kitchen features chef-driven seasonal fare at a reasonable price. For even greater ambiance, the location will include an outdoor beer garden with veggies and herbs growing on site.
Variant Brewing Company
Variant Brewing Company crafts quality brews with a flavorful taste that compels
you to share. Their collaborative approach and passion for the art of the
brewing process creates experiential blends for the occasional beer drinker and
craft beer enthusiast.
For Matt Curling, Variant Brewing Company owner and brewmaster, the focus "is on variety rather than quantity so the smaller fermenters will allow us to explore some more experimental recipes. Our goal is to push the limits of craft beer by modifying traditional recipes and experimenting with various adjuncts, unique grain bills, hop schedules and yeasts to create a wide variety of unique drinking experiences."
