Sunsets and Seascapes At The Pines and Palms Resort In Islamorada In The Florida Keys

Sunsets and Seascapes At The Pines and Palms Resort In Islamorada In The Florida KeysThe Florida Keys beckon. It's here you'll find some of the best places to go fishing or dive into the ocean to explore the sea life. Of course, there's plenty of shopping options as well as attractions, and fabulous food to enjoy as well in the Florida Keys. When in comes to planning your trip you have plenty of selections, and one of our favorites is the Pines & Palms Resort in Islamorada, Florida, located at Mile Marker 80.4. The mile markers you'll spot make it easy to find what you're looking for on your trip.

We loved the comfortable villas at the Pines & Palms Resort, which offered a sunset view and all the amenities you'd find at a large resort. The villas are cozy, and there are larger 2 and 3 bedrooms for families and groups, kitchenettes are available, and there's WiFi, so you can check in with the real world. Then again, you're on vacation, so skip that idea and take a bike tour; everyone does in the area. Go kayaking, or bring back your catch of the day and cook it up on the grill.

For a snack or coffee in the mornings, except for on Wednesdays when they're closed, head down the street is the Midway CafeFor a snack or coffee in the mornings, (except for on Wednesdays when they're closed,) head down the street is the Midway Cafe. We love the Midway Cafe for its location, welcoming staff, and great prices. There's a sandwich shops, and choices of muffins and other goodies. It's a great place to drop in and catch up with the locals, who can keep you updated on the events and sites to see in the area. And, out in front you'll spot a sign that makes a perfect photo; especially when you stand under the "You Are Here" arrow.

In the Keys you'll enjoy a laid back and relaxing trip. Here, time slips by slower than on the mainland. The people you meet are also laid back, and always ready to lend a hand, as is the case at the Pines & Palms Resort. If you need directions to a great dining spot, just ask. Want to know where you can find the best fishing spot, they can help you with that too! From snorkeling or scuba diving, there's a variety of outdoor recreation and seascapes to explore in the Keys. Whatever you need, Chris, Ana or Jim will be happy to assist you.

Our favorite time was relaxing on the porch of our villa and just soaking in the sunsets. If you don't mind getting up early you'll also see some beautiful sunrises. Lounge around the heated freshwater swimming pool, and you can also bring along your boat and dock it on the water. The Pines & Palms Resort has a ramp for boats up to 32 feet, which makes it perfect for a day out on the water, and then enjoying a great evening with family and friends.

We hope you have as much fun as we did during your stay at the Pines & Palms Resort in Islamorada, Florida!
